Submissions to the Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery

Applications Deadlines:

Welcome and thank you for considering exhibiting at the Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery. This gallery is an integral component of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Art Department and our exhibitions are designed to encourage a dialogue between artists and students; artists and the university community, as well as artists with the broader community. We hope to achieve this by inviting a dynamic array of contemporary artists to our campus.

We invite submissions and proposals from artists and independent curators year-round. Typically we hold two person exhibitions, however, we are open to ideas for group shows or solo shows. If you are an artist applying consider letting us know if there is another artist you would like to exhibit with.

We encourage local artists in the DFW area and Texas to apply. However, national and international submissions are welcome, additional sources of funding to cover accomodation and shipping expenses will need to be secured by the applicant.

Exhibition proposals are reviewed by a committee of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø scholars and artists. Our exhibitions average 8 weeks in duration and generally follow a typical school year September through May.  

Submissions accepted year-round. 

Applications remain eligible for later programming if the artist wishes. All artforms are welcomed.

Submission Guidelines

Please make your submission online observing the following guidelines.

Work Examples are to be formatted as a PDF with no more than 15 images ordered in viewing priority.

All images should be clearly titled, with medium and sizes with the above mentioned PDF.

Please provide a corresponding list of images saved as a PDF.

Resume(s)/CV should include name and contact information and saved as a PDF.

Include statement about work, title, concept and description of exhibition saved as a PDF.

Make your submission

Please do not email or bring in submissions. Original materials will not returned. 

Notifications will be sent to the email provided in your submission if the gallery committee needs more information or is interested in moving toward an exhibition.
