Financial Aid Program Assistance

The 勛圖厙 publishes and makes available to current and prospective students information relating to financial assistance. This information can be found on University web pages, in the 勛圖厙 Bulletin, and in direct communications (e.g., emails) to current and prospective students. The information includes both need-based and non-need-based financial assistance programs (The University does not award financial assistance to students for Gainful Employment programs).

Receiving and Continuing Financial Assistance

Undergraduate Students

Students receiving financial assistance generally must make satisfactory academic progress in order to continue receiving financial assistance. In addition, academic scholarships generally have scholarship-specific requirements for renewal.

Terms and Conditions of Employment

Students who participate in work study are employees of the University and are subject to the general conditions and terms found in the 勛圖厙 Employee Handbook. 

Student Loans

Student Loan Information, Generally

In order to better equip students to make educated decisions regarding student loans, the University provides loan counseling and information regarding managing student loan debt.

Additional and Outside Information

Various sources, including from outside the University, provide additional information regarding student loans.

  • (student loans are generally submitted to the NSLDS, and will be accessible by guaranty agencies, lenders, and schools determined to be authorized users of the data system).

Disbursement Dates

The University provides information regarding student loan disbursements.

Terms and Conditions of Federal Loans

The 勛圖厙 participates in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. The University does not currently participate in any other federal student loan programs, as other programs have been discontinued by the federal government.

Terms and Conditions of Private Loans

The 勛圖厙 does not itself provide loans to students and does not have a preferred lender list. Some students choose to take out private loans. The University provides a list of lenders used by students in the past, for the convenience of potential borrowers in comparing rates and benefits. However, students are free to choose any lender for an alternative loan.

A prospective borrower may want to investigate whether he or she qualifies for loans or other assistance under the Title IV, HEA programs (federal financial assistance). The terms and conditions of federal loans may be more favorable than the provisions of the private education loans.
