Salary Range: $20 - $33 / hour with a national average of $25/hour*
The SIE certification is considered the first step in establishing a career in the Securities Industry. FINRA requires the SIE certification as a prerequisite to their other certifications. This certification proves a candidates knowledge of basic securities industry information, including concepts fundamental to working in the industry, such as types of products and their risks; the structure of the securities industry markets, regulatory agencies and their functions; and prohibited practices.
