Ms. Minch is a financial literacy consultant where she focuses on innovative personal finance training and education programs for non-profits, corporate employee programs, high schools, colleges and universities. She works with firms to deliver best in class products, resources and content to produce a customized solution to meet the needs of their clients. These solutions include interactive learning platforms, workshops and webinars.
She serves as an Associate Faculty with City University of Seattle, School of Business and Management and as an adjunct professor at the ³Ô¹ÏÍø for the Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business Graduate Program. Additionally, she is also a member of the MS Finance Steering Committee for the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and Gupta College of Business at ³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Ms. Minch is also a member of the CFA Institute and volunteers with the local CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth. She has been a Board member for over 5 years and currently serves as President of the 1,600 member society that is located in one of the top financial services cities in the United States. CFA® Institute is a global community of investment professionals with over 164,000 members in 163 countries.
In addition, Ms. Minch is a member to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) where she has been a volunteer for over 7 years and currently serves a Chair of the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Planning Committee. The American Institute of CPAs is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession with more than 431,000 members.
Most recently, she was Director of Institutional Development for Wiley where she created customized learning and professional development programs to help financial institutions enhance employee programs and universities enrich student curriculums. Prior to this position, she spent 8.5 years as a CFO for a large family office located in Dallas, TX. She managed the financial reporting, tax reporting, estate planning, compliance, accounting and various other finance and administrative functions. Prior to the CFO position, she spent many years in various roles within the finance and accounting industries. She started her professional career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen and then moved into strategic planning and finance at Greystone Communities.
Ms. Minch graduated, with honors, and received her B.B.A in Accounting and M.S. in Financial Management from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She holds a CFA® charter, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), in the State of Texas, and has the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
Outside her professional responsibilities, she enjoys fitness, outdoor activities and sports. She has a passion for jogging, hiking, weightlifting and cycling. She is an avid traveler and visited over 42 U.S. states and over 27 foreign countries.
